What’s the Difference?
Individualist Approach
This approach to social intelligence often emphasizes:
Individual expression: Valuing personal authenticity and direct communication
Assertiveness: Speaking up for oneself and clearly stating needs and opinions
Problem-solving: Addressing conflicts through direct discussion and negotiation
Personal achievement: Focusing on standing out and individual recognition
Explicit communication: Preferring clear verbal articulation of thoughts and feelings
Nunchi Approach
The Korean nunchi approach emphasizes:
Group harmony: Prioritizing collective wellbeing over individual expression
Preventive awareness: Reading situations to avoid conflicts before they arise
Implicit understanding: Developing sensitivity to unspoken cues and atmospheres
Social cohesion: Finding one's appropriate place within the group dynamic
Anticipatory service: Noticing others' needs before they must ask for help
Discover the Transformative Power of Perception!
Whilst Individualist social skills often spotlight self-expression, Nunchi offers a beautiful complement—an awareness of group harmony that can change everything. This treasured Korean approach invites children to lead through truly understanding others' needs, creating connection rather than competition.
Imagine your child navigating our complex world with the extraordinary gift of genuine empathy! This rare skill helps them shine in group projects, forge meaningful friendships across differences, and move through social challenges with quiet confidence. We'd be honored to share this balanced approach with your child, empowering them to flourish in our interconnected world in ways that might surprise you.

With Trainer
After extensive questions, testing against ideas, and countless conversations about children's wellbeing, I stumbled upon Nunchi, and found, this is the missing link towards many socio-emotional teaching for kids these days!
Eastern cultures have masterfully developed approaches to social intelligence built on the foundation of harmony—approaches that offer children powerful tools to overcome social challenges and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
What makes Nunchi exceptional is its comprehensive framework for teaching children to not just recognize social cues, but respond in ways that build harmony—the critical ingredient for meaningful relationships and community belonging.
By instilling these vital skills early, we allow them to develop naturally as children grow into socially confident, emotionally intelligent adults. I'm passionate about sharing these life-changing concepts with your children through our workshops, empowering them to navigate childhood with confidence and grace. At Acrominds, we don't just teach skills—we nurture the whole child to thrive in every social environment they encounter.

Ash is magic with kids. His classes are consistently fun, exciting & challenging! With ten years of coaching experience under his belt, he uses a very interactive yet supportive approach and knows exactly how to skilfully push his students so that they can achieve their maximum potential. Besides having excellent communication skills, he is also a great listener- it’s no wonder why all his students are always clamouring to talk to him! Overall, a very dedicated, nurturing and fun-loving coach! :)
Stephanie Choo, Parent
Coach Ash teaches my sons Social Emotional Learning through Parkour. In just a lesson, my husband and I saw a lot of positive changes to our sons’ attitudes when faced with challenges. Coach is also able to accurately identify physical weakness so that we can focus on working with them at home. In general, Coach Ash is very patient and is excellent at handling kids.
